Lincoln Academy All Sports Boosters is holding the annual LA Booster Auction on Sat., Nov. 17 in the Lincoln Academy Dining Commons.

Hunter de Garmo, 32 of Newcastle, completed his first 50 mile ultra marathon on Oct. 6 in Western New York, de Garmo finished the 10th annual Can Lake Ultra Marathon in 10:47:30.

Nearly 1400 runners competed in the 2012 Maine Cross Country Festival of Champions in Belfast on Sept. 29. Beth Brown (17:56) of Waterville and Mike Tate (15:26) of New Hampshire set new course records at the mega-meet that saw 60 boys’ teams and 50 girls’ teams compete.

Four Lincoln Academy cross country runners placed in the top 30 at the Western Maine Class B championships.

Three Wiscasset golfers Chandler Longfellow, Daren Wood and Cody Graves qualified for the State Class C Individual championships.

Boothbay Region High School runner Sophia Thayer won the West Class C girls’ championship on Oct. 20 at Twin Brook Recreation in Cumberland.

Lincoln Academy boys’ cross country team packed five scoring runners in the top 30 to place third at the Class B Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference cross country championships Oct. 13 at Cony High School in Augusta.

Medomak Middle School boys’ soccer team won the Busline League championships on Oct. 20 at Lookout Point in Northport.

Boothbay’s Sophia Thayer won the Mt.Valley Conference girls’ cross country championships on Friday at the University of Augusta in a time of 21:11.

Medomak Valley boys’ cross country team placed seventh at the Eastern Maine Class B Regionals in Belfast on Saturday to qualify for the State championships, to be held in Belfast on Oct. 27.

Wiscasset girls’ soccer team shut out the Bulldogs from Hall-Dale Oct. 11 in Farmingdale in their Mt.Valley Conference season finale.

Rams’ soccer teams advance to finals in Portland. Coastal Christian’s High School team won 9-1 in the semi-finals Tuesday in Waldoboro.
