Wiscasset girls’ basketball team defeated the older Redskins 29-26 Saturday evening in the annual alumni game.

After a late start, the Lincoln Academy girls’ swim team nearly clipped the Eagles of Mt. Ararat Tuesday night, placing second 49-45.

After playing multiple games in a tournament on Friday, the Eagles took on the Alumni in the nightcap game and ran out of gas late in the second half, falling 58-50.

Wiscasset boys’ alumni handled the varsity team 68-37 Saturday in the traditional Thanksgiving weekend match-up. Sixteen alumni played in the game, giving them fresh legs to take on the younger Redskins.

The annual Lincoln Academy Booster auction will be held on Sat., Nov. 13 in the school’s cafeteria. The silent auction begins at 4 p.m. followed by the live auction at 5 p.m. Auctioneer John Bottero has once again volunteered his time for the event.
