Lincoln Academy Swimmers Win Three KVAC Titles
Lincoln Academy girls’ swim team won three KVAC titles Friday night at the Bath YMCA in school record breaking time. Freshman Kara Mullin won the 200 individual medley, Valeska Vaughn won the 100 freestyle, and the Lady Eagles won the 200 free relay with Mullin, Vaughn, Katie Jackson and Olivia DeLisle swimming a leg. Lincoln girls also set a school record in the 200 medley relay. The girls will ring the Lincoln Academy school bell on Monday morning to celebrate their championships.

Wiscasset girls’ basketball team wrapped up their Mt.Valley Conference season on Feb. 3, with a 43-36 win over Boothbay. The Redskins finish the season with a 3-15 record, and the Seahawks with a 2-16 record.

It was a tie all around going into the final round of play for YMCA tennis. All teams had equal wins and losses. In order to secure first place, the CLC 6.0 tennis team needed to win both matches on Feb. 7 at the Racket & Fitness club in Portland.

The CLC YMCA in Damariscotta is hosting a boys’ basketball undergrad tournament this week. Medomak defeated Boothbay 87-63 in the first game of the tournament on Monday.
Neilson State Class B Wrestling Runner-Up
Medomak Valley senior Trever Neilson placed second in the 171-pound weight division at the State Class B wrestling championships, held at Medomak Valley High School in Waldoboro on Saturday.
Genthner and Neilson Crowned East B Wrestling Champs
Medomak Valley seniors Steven Genthner (145) and Trever Neilson (171) won East Class B Regional wrestling titles on Saturday at MCI in Pittsfield.
