Wiscasset boys’ basketball team picked up three wins this week to improve to 16-1. The Redskins defeated rival Boothbay Tuesday night in Wiscasset, 67-57.

Medomak Valley’s Patrick O’Donnell, Taylor Keefe, Gwen Moiles, Kianna Ocean, and Megan Wyllie were named to the KVAC 2008-09 Indoor Track All-Conference team.
Medomak Girls Win KVAC 3200 Relay, O’Donnell 400
Medomak Valley’s indoor track team may be short in numbers, but they are long on talent. The girls won the KVAC 4 by 800 relay in 10:48.54 at the league championship meet Friday night at Bowdoin College.

Medomak Valley girls’ basketball coach Randy Hooper was named KVAC 2008-09 Coach of the Year. Hooper has coached basketball at Medomak for four years.

Equipment Swap Postponed
A Used Sporting Goods Equipment Swap scheduled for Jan. 31 at Lincoln Academy has been postponed. The event was organized by the Lincoln Academy Boosters who had asked community members to please clean out their closets and donate good used sporting equipment for the sale.
