The Animal House in Damariscotta has been designated a donation center for The Lincoln County Animal Shelter. They are accepting supply and monetary donations to help the shelter with their need after recently taking in 22 dogs from Waldoboro.
In addition, pre-packed bags with food and supplements are available for purchase at The Animal House in $5, $10 or $20 increments. A bake sale is planned for Sat., April 9, outside The Animal House, to help raise funds.
The Animal House also contacted pet food company Stella & Chewy’s regarding the plight of The Lincoln County Animal Shelter. In response, Stella & Chewy’s is sending 200-lbs. of freeze dried food, which aids in helping convalescing dogs and cats.
