Two of the worst roads in Damariscotta are on the list to be re-paved this summer, officials say.
Biscay Road and School Street, two state-maintained roads, are on the list to be fixed this summer, said Rep. Jonathan McKane (R-Newcastle).
“Will miracles never cease,” said Dick McLean, the chairman of the Damariscotta Board of Selectman.
Both roads were on the state list to be repaved last summer, however, they, and most of the repaving projects, were removed from the list in the wake of the state budget crisis.
