A blustery rainstorm knocked out power for 20 Bristol households on the night of Fri., Oct. 19, according to Central Maine Power (CMP).
Lincoln County residents fared better that their neighbors in Kennebec County where 518 households were without power, according to CMP. Other Maine counties also reported scattered power outages during the storm.
Efforts to restore power to residents in the Pemaquid Loop area, where all of the Lincoln County outages are located, were ongoing at the time of this posting (11:08 p.m.).
Southeast winds were running 15 to 25 mph near the coast, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
No other significant damage was reported in Lincoln County at the time of this posting from the storm that blew in Friday night and is forecast to move out by mid-day Saturday.
