Firefighters from four area departments responded to a rapidly contained structure fire on Carl Bailey Road in Bristol Oct. 14.
The fire was extinguished shortly after 6 p.m. One individual was removed from the scene by ambulance and transported to Miles Miles Memorial Hospital with non life threatening burn injuries.
According to firefighters and other emergency personnel at the scene, near Little Falls Brook Preserve, the fire started while the victim was working on a truck in a garage shortly after 5 p.m.
Firefighters from Bristol, South Bristol, Newcastle and Damariscotta responded to the scene assisted by Central Lincoln County Ambulance Service and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
