John and Michele Cooney, seasonal residents of South Waldoboro, proudly announce the birth of their daughter, Carlie Bossert Cooney, at 5 p.m. on Dec. 9. Baby girl Carlie weighed in at 6 lbs., 11 oz. She was born at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Conn., and resides with her parents in Ellington, Conn.
Paternal grandmother is Margaret Parsons Cooney of Chase Point in Damariscotta. Maternal grandparents are Tony and Cheryll Sasur of Three Rivers, Mass.
