Richard and Nancy Christopher and Shannon and Dawn Gilbert are pleased to announce the marriage of their children Gail Christopher and Charles Gilbert.
The ceremony was held on June 18 at sunset on the beach at Hermit Island, Small Point, with Notary Denise Carver of Wiscasset officiating.
Rebecca Alley of East Boothbay was the matron of honor. Brian Carver of Wiscasset was best man. Cordelia Christopher was the flower girl. The reception was held the next afternoon at the home of the groom’s sister Lora Rinow in Edgecomb.
Gail graduated from Boothbay Region High School and USM with a degree in business management. She is employed as regional manager of Wine Outlets of Maine. Charles graduated from Boothbay Region High School and is a commercial fisherman.
The couple will have a honeymoon later in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. They reside at their home in Boothbay.
