On Fri., Aug. 17, the Damariscotta-Newcastle Lions and Rotary Clubs will once again band together to have their annual auction.
The 1812 Farm on Rt. 130 in Bristol Mills is the place, with doors opening at 5 p.m., for previewing the auction items and to enjoy hearty appetizers provided by King Eider’s Pub and Stone Cove Catering. There will be a cash bar as well.
The live auction begins at 6 p.m. The auction’s wonderful items and services have all been graciously donated by local merchants. All proceeds will benefit equally the two clubs, allowing them to continue to serve their communities through various programs and services.
Please come by and support this most worthy cause for two amazing organizations. There’s sure to be something among the treasures that will entice one to make a bid (or two or three…). And as always, the public is invited. Please bid high, and bid often.
