The Damariscotta Police report the following:
On Dec. 29, Officer Jennifer Doe assisted Animal Control Officer with removing a deer from Bristol Rd., which had been hit during the night.
Jesse C. Daiute, 27, of Newcastle, was issued a warning for a defect.
Dorothy M. Sewallo, 28, of Waldoboro, was issued a warning for an expired license and a defect.
Officer Harlow Waltz is investigating a theft from a motor vehicle.
On Dec. 30, Officer Jennifer Doe investigated a possible criminal threatening case.
On Dec. 31, Officer Jennifer Doe responded to a two-vehicle accident in the Chase Point parking lot involving Janet Hammond, 51, of Jefferson and Charles Kent, 43, of Union. Ms. Hammond was backing up in her 2002 Chevy Trailblazer and struck Mr. Kent in his 2003 Toyota. The Hammond vehicle received approximately $1200 worth of damage, and the Kent vehicle received no damage.
On Jan. 1, Officer Richard Alexander investigated a possible harassment by telephone case.
On Jan. 4, Officer Jennifer Doe and Officer Michael Elwell assisted with traffic control at a water main break on Main St. in front of Hancock Lumber.
