Damariscotta Police Department reports the following activity:
June 24, Sgt. Chad Andrews responded to a complaint of a custody issue.
June 25, Karyn E. Collins, 57 of Bremen was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection certificate.
June 26, Gregory B. Fortin, 20 of Bristol was issued a summons to court for speeding 10-14 mph over the posted speed limit.
June 28, Officer Daniel Barbour responded to a possible domestic violence assault.
June 28, The Damariscotta Police Department responded to an overdose on drugs and alcohol by two young females. They were transported to the Emergency Room at Miles Memorial Hospital. Two arrests have been made in regards to this incident and the investigation continues.
June 28, James E. Granbois, 43 of Moravia, N.Y. was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor and for operating a motor vehicle after suspension. He was also issued a summons to court for speeding 50 mph in a 30 mph zone.
June 29, Erika D. Ferland, 27 of Waldoboro was summonsed to court for theft.
June 29, Bryan T. Manahan, 38 of Newcastle was summonsed to court for speeding 15-19 mph over the posted speed limit.
June 29, Roanne Fortin, 55 of Bristol was summonsed to court for speeding 15-19 mph over the posted speed limit.
June 29, Deborah G. Newell, 52 of Newcastle was backing up in the parking lot of Great Salt Bay Community School when she struck a light pole. There was approximately $1500 damage done to her 2003 GMC.
June 30, Officer Jennifer Doe contacted a citizen for a welfare check.
