The Damariscotta Police responded to 144 calls including motor vehicle stops, arrests, calls for service, etc. during this one week period of time and report the following activities:
July 3, Thomas Walker, 36 of Bristol was summonsed to court for Speeding 25-29 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.
July 4, Autumn Rose Skelton-Conrad, 18 of West Bath was summonsed to court for Illegal Possession of Liquor by a Minor.
July 4, Amanda L. Beauchesne, 18 of Topsham was summonsed to court for Illegal Possession of Liquor by a Minor.
July 4 Joshua J. Johnson, 18 of Nobleboro was summonsed for Failure to Produce Evidence of Insurance, Inadequate Tire and Unnecessary Noise.
July 4,Vincent J. Covello, 49 of Wiscasset was summonsed for Operating an Uninspected Motor Vehicle.
July 4, Officer Richard Alexander took a complaint of Harassment from a citizen.
July 4, Prescott P. Brackett, 20 of Nobleboro was summonsed for Unnecessary Noise.
July 2, Officer Beck responded to a two vehicle accident involving Gary F. Stone, 50 of Newcastle and Stamatea E. Eaton, 27 of San Diego, Cal. Stone, who was operating a 2001 Subaru and Eaton who was operating a 2005 Chevrolet were both backing out of their parking spaces at Rising Tide and backed into each other.
July 3, Officer Beck responded to a two vehicle accident on Parking Lot Lane involving Thomas A. Benner, 45 of Swanville who was operating a 2005 Chevrolet and Donna K. Carlton, 62 of Damariscotta who was operating a 2008 Chevrolet. Benner was illegally parked on the side of the Municipal Parking Lot. Carlton backed out of a parking space and backed into the driver’s side door of Mr. Benner’s vehicle.
June 28, Sgt. Andrews responded to Main Street for a verbal domestic situation. The parties were separated.
June 29, Officer Jennifer Mitkus responded to an alarm at a local bank.

June 29, Officer Mitkus responded to a report of possible harassment in the area of Upper Main Street.

July 4, Officer Mitkus, along with the Damariscotta Fire Department, responded to Renys on Main Street due to a fire alarm. The Store Manager advised them that a child pulled the alarm and there was no problem there.
