Damariscotta Police Department responded to 109 calls including motor vehicle stops, arrests, calls for service, etc. during this one week period of time and reports the following activities:

Arrests/SummonsesOct. 31, Kurt F. Magnusson, 64 of Bremen, was summonsed for speeding, 15-19 mph over the posted speed limit.

Nov. 2, Rebecca E. Debella, 25 of Waldoboro, was arrested for Assault and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Nov. 2, Luis Lassu, 42 of Bristol, was summonsed for operating a motor vehicle without a license.

Nov. 4, Jared C. Linke, 22 of Lancaster, Penn., was summonsed for operating a motor vehicle without a license and speeding, 20-24 mph over the posted speed limit.

AccidentsNov. 5, Officer Devin Polizzotti responded to a report of a two vehicle motor vehicle accident that occurred in the Hannaford Parking Lot involving Theodore H. Weiss, 47 of Friendship who was operating a 2004 Dodge and Thomas F. Potter, 66 of Jefferson who was operating a 2003 Ford. Weiss was backing up and struck Potter’s vehicle.
