The Lincoln County Sheriff’s office reported that a Dresden man, Andrew Goupill, 33, of Dorr Road, is now in jail after having called 911 regarding an invasion of his home, said Lt. Rand Maker.
At 2:53 p.m. on July 1, Goupill called saying someone was invading his home, and that Goupill had a gun.
“When we got there we found out it all to be untrue,” said Maker.
Goupill was brought to Midcoast Hospital. Once he was medically cleared, he was brought to Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset.
It has not been determined whether Groupill’s behavior was drug-related.
