The sick bald eagle rescued in Bristol March 18 has made a full recovery and the bird’s rescuers helped release him March 30 in Damariscotta.
Bristol residents Tom MacGregor, who spotted the eagle, and Mike Witte, a state animal damage control agent who responded to the call, helped release the eagle at the Great Salt Bay Farm Wildlife Preserve.
