At this hour there are reports of 130 roads without power in Lincoln County, according to the LCEMA. The majority of those roads are in the Boothbay Harbor, Boothbay, Bristol, South Bristol, and Bremen areas.
Winds have been reduced to 25 to 30 miles per hour and gusting to 37 miles per hour at Pemaquid Point over the last hour. This continues to cause loose tree limbs and trees to fall on electric supply lines, telephone lines, and cable.
With the rain slowing now to a steady, yet not heavy pace, this should allow some street flooding to dissipate, however, streams, rivers, and creeks will still be an issue. Please use extreme caution when approaching any bodies of water for the next 24 hours.
The latest weather notice indicates that the winds will continue into the evening as the does the rain. Citizens should use caution with the down lines and avoid street flooding.
