Fire departments from a number of Lincoln County towns are presently either en route or on scene at the Washburn and Doughty shipyard in East Boothbay after a fire was reported at the location at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
The size and extent of the fire is unknown at this time. A reporter for The Lincoln County News is en route to the location and will provide an update directly from the scene as soon as he arrives.
