Carrie J. Gilbert and Robert G. Campbell, both of New Harbor, are pleased to announce their engagement.
The bride to be is the daughter of Timothy and Deborah Gilbert of Bristol. The prospective groom is the son of Talbot and Rosemary Campbell of Newcastle.
The couple plans to wed June 9, at the Bristol Congregational Church, with the reception to follow next door at the Parish House. Gilbert’s 6-year-old son Logan W. Willey is proud to be the ring bearer.
Both are graduates of Lincoln Academy in Newcastle, Campbell in 2001 and Gilbert in 2002. During their school years they knew each other’s names and by acquaintance, but it wasn’t until 2008 when they connected through a mutual friend.
