A Lincoln County grand jury handed down numerous criminal indictments last month, including several for trafficking in prison contraband.
Paul Griffin, 37, of Waldoboro was indicted on class C counts of unlawful possession of schedule w drugs (hydrocodone) and acquiring drugs by deception April 5 in Waldoboro.
Melissa Ann Elwell, 30, of Bath was indicted for a class C count of trafficking in prison contraband April 27 in Wiscasset.
John J. Ellsworth, IV of Westport Island was indicted for a class C count of trafficking in prison contraband April 27 in Wiscasset.
George D. Elwell Jr., 40, of Topsham was indicted for a class C count of trafficking in prison contraband April 27 in Wiscasset.
Megan L. Enes, 32, of Edgecomb was indicted for a class C count of trafficking in prison contraband (prescription medication) April 28 in Wiscasset.
Charles A. Messer, 30, of Topsham was indicted for a class C count of trafficking in prison contraband April 27 in Wiscasset.
Clifford Schwanke aka Clifford Schuance aka Clifford Swanky, 30, of Waldoboro was indicted for class B counts of aggravated traffic in scheduled drugs (marijuana) and aggravated marijuana cultivation April 7 in Waldoboro.
Ronald E. Williams Jr., 37, of Whitefield was indicted on counts of class C burglary and class E theft by unauthorized taking March 2 in Whitefield.
Santiago H. Esparza, 25, of Bremen was indicted on counts of class B aggravated assault and class D criminal threatening.
George T. Swope, 28, of Boothbay was indicted on counts of class C unlawful possession of scheduled drugs (hydrocodone) and class D unlawful possession of scheduled drugs (subozone) Jan. 30 in Boothbay.
Christopher W. Gonyer, 33, in Two Bridges Regional Jail was indicted on a count of class C assault.
Holli Viola Preo, 22, of Dixfield was indicted on counts of class B unlawful trafficking in class B scheduled drugs (subozone), class C trafficking in prison contraband (subozone and/or subutex pills), and class D unlawful possession of scheduled drugs Jan. 31 in Wiscasset.
Paul D. Grandmaison, 30, of Westbrook was indicted on a class C trafficking in prison contraband (subozone or subutex pills) Jan. 31 in Wiscasset.
Tina G. Howard, 45, of Mexico was indicted on two class C counts of trafficking in prison contraband (hydrocodone pill and zanax pill), a class C count of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs (hydrocodone) and a class E count of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs (zanax) March 13 in Wiscasset.
Cristina V. Capriano, 43, of Bristol was indicted on a class C count of terrorizing and a class D count of refusing to submit to arrest.
Frank D. Genthner Jr., 43, of Bristol was indicted on a class C assault count and a class D criminal mischief count.
For a second indictment, Genthner was charged with a class C violation of condition of release count.
Edwin A. Duquette, 43, of Waldoboro was indicted on a class C count of receiving stolen property (meat cutting saw valued at more than $1000, property of Mark Lincoln) and a class E violation of condition of release count.
Jamie D. Main, 22, of West Bath was indicted on a class C count of domestic violence assault March 24 in Wiscasset.
Warren G. Brann Jr. 38, of Jefferson was indicted on a class B count of theft by unauthorized taking (tools, trailer, and construction equipment belonging to Gregory Briggs valued at over $10,000) Oct. 23, 2008 to Jan. 6 in Jefferson.
Reggie Carl French, 33, of Windsor was indicted on a class B theft by unauthorized taking count Oct. 23 in Jefferson.
Brandon W. Northrop, 23, of Jefferson was indicted on a class B theft by unauthorized taking count (tools, trailer, and construction equipment) Jan. 6 in Jefferson.
Brandon G. Gagnon, 22, of Wiscasset was indicted on a class C count of eluding an officer, class E count of operating after suspension, and class E count of improper plates Feb. 4 in Wiscasset.
Jerica L. Wallace, 22, of Belfast was indicted on two class C counts of assault on an officer, a class C count of violation of condition of release and class D count of refusing to submit to arrest March 30 in Wiscasset.
Wesley A. Glidden, 25, of Belfast was indicted on a class C count of theft by deception (over $1000 in currency belonging to David Spellman) May 13, 2008 in Wiscasset.
Edwin A. Duquette, 43, of Waldoboro was indicted on a class count of unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs (marijuana) Jan. 19 in Waldoboro.
In a second indictment, Duquette was charged with two class A counts of kidnapping (David Adao with intent to hold him for ransom or reward) and two class D counts of terrorizing Jan. 19 in Waldoboro.
Brian D. Cookson, 44, of Nobleboro was indicted on two class A counts of kidnapping and two class D counts of terrorizing.
Helen M. Webber, 48, of Richmond was indicted on a class C count of theft by unauthorized taking ($6000 in currency property of Mark Webber) Aug. 21 in Alna.
Patricia A. Wahl, 51, of Liberty was indicted on a class B count of theft by unauthorized taking (jewelry valued at more than $10,000 belonging to Alice Symonds) Feb. 24 in Jefferson.
Benjamin L. Rackliff, 36, of Waldoboro was indicted on a class C assault count Oct. 3, 2008 in Damariscotta.
Aaron Springer, 22, of Wiscasset was indicted on a class C count of aggravated criminal trespassing and two class C counts of criminal threatening Dec. 19, 2008 in Damariscotta.
