Lincoln County Animal Shelter Office Manager Alesia Norling led the way to the isolation areas of the shelter on March 31, that is now housing approximately 22 dogs surrendered en mass last week.
As Norling tells it, shelter manager Betsy Pratt was on the scene in Waldoboro when the various and sundry dogs were being loaded for transport March 30, from a responsible owner to relinquished them.
According to Pratt, the owner was associated with a Texas animal shelter, and had saved the 22 dogs from high-kill shelter.
