Fryeburg Academy Principal David Sturdevant will be the next Lincoln Academy head of school, according to a March 15 blog post on the school website.
Sturdevant will start work July 1.
He will succeed Head of School Jay Pinkerton, who will step down at the end of the academic year after 17 years as an administrator at the Newcastle high school and almost seven years as head of school.
The Lincoln County News will report details of the hire here and in the March 21 print edition.
