Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:
On Dec. 30, 2008, Bryan L. Perkins, 21, of Damariscotta was issued a summons for operating while license is suspended or revoked, on Back Meadow Rd., Damariscotta, by Deputy Mark Bridgham.
On Dec. 31, 2008, Cheryl McFarland, 41, of Wiscasset was issued a summons for operating while license is suspended or revoked, on Boothbay Rd., Edgecomb, by Deputy Henry Grenier.
On Jan. 4, Derek Olson, 26, of Jefferson was issued a summons for operating while license is suspended or revoked, on Bunker Hill Rd., Jefferson, by Deputy Chad Gilbert.
On Jan. 5, Alexandria K. Landi, 18, of Union was issued a summons for permitting unlawful use, on Bath Rd., Wiscasset, by Deputy Henry Grenier.
On Jan. 5, Justin Brazier, 21, of Friendship was issued a summons for operating while license is suspended or revoked, on Bath Rd., Wiscasset, by Deputy Henry Grenier.
On Dec. 30, 2008 Brian J. Ellison, 21, of Bremen turned himself in to Det. Robert McFetridge at the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office on an outstanding warrant for failing to pay fine for operating after suspension.
On Dec. 31, 2008, Julie A. Williams, 50, of Newcastle was arrested for operating under the influence, on River Rd., Edgecomb, by Deputy Todd Chilton.
On Dec. 31, 2008, Jason M. Strout, 23, of Falmouth was arrested for operating under the influence, on Harrison Lane, Wiscasset, by Deputy Henry Grenier.
On Jan. 1, Joseph M. Anderson Jr., 22, of Newcastle was arrested for operating under the influence, on Mills Rd., Newcastle, by Lt. Rand Maker.
On Jan. 1, Richard Perry, 18, of Boothbay Harbor was arrested by Deputy Chad Gilbert for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, after an incident which took place on Pleasant Cove Rd., Boothbay. A 15-year-old juvenile from Boothbay was also issued a juvenile summons for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer for the same incident.
On Jan. 2, Michael Connors, 27, of Boothbay Harbor was arrested for operating under the influence – no test, two priors; and operating vehicle without license, on Bath Rd., Wiscasset, by Deputy Henry Grenier.
On Jan. 4, Gilbert Wright, 59, of Whitefield was arrested on two counts of domestic violence assault, on Townhouse Rd., Whitefield, by Deputy Henry Grenier.
On Jan. 4, Andrew R. Griffin, 19, of New Harbor was arrested for violation of bail, domestic violence assault, terrorizing, obstructing a report of a crime, domestic violence criminal mischief and the civil violation of creating a police standoff, on Pemaquid Villas Rd., New Harbor, by Deputy Justin Drake, who was assisted at the scene by Lt. Rand Maker, Sgt. Brendan Kane and Deputy Henry Grenier.
On Dec. 31, 2008, an accident occurred on Rt. 27 in Edgecomb involving Jay T. Sibley, 50, of Edgecomb. Sibley was traveling north at the top of a hill, when a deer ran out onto the roadway from the westbound side and was struck. Sibley’s 1998 Buick sustained an estimated $1000 in damage. Deputy Mark Bridgham was the investigating officer.
On Dec. 31, 2008, an accident occurred on Pension Ridge Rd. in Boothbay involving Trevor R. Morin, 28, of Boothbay and Aloyse Charron, 56, of Windham. Morin was following the Charron vehicle south. When Charron stopped on the road, Morin stopped behind her. Charron then backed up into the Morin vehicle. Morin’s 2001 Chevrolet pickup truck sustained an estimated $1500 in damage and Charron’s 2007 Honda sustained an estimated $500 in damage. Deputy Chad Gilbert was the investigating officer.
On Jan. 2, an accident occurred on Highland Rd. in Newcastle involving Mark Colby, 58, of Boothbay Harbor. Colby was traveling westbound, coming down a hill. Due to icy road conditions, he lost control and as a result, rolled his vehicle over, coming to rest on the passenger side. Colby’s 1997 Ford two axle single unit truck sustained an estimated $7000 in damage. Deputy Brian Collamore was the investigating officer.
On Jan. 3, an accident occurred on East Neck Rd. in Nobleboro involving Dustin Chamberlain, 17, of Waldoboro. Chamberlain was following the roadway when a deer ran in front of his vehicle. Chamberlain was unable to avoid striking the deer, causing significant damage to the vehicle’s front end. Chamberlain’s 2000 Chevrolet pickup truck sustained an estimated $3500 in damage. Deputy Justin Drake was the investigating officer.
