Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:
Oct. 26, Deputy Brian Collamore took a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle on Center Street, Nobleboro. The complainant stated that sometime between the previous night and this morning, someone(s) slashed the tire to her vehicle. The approximate replacement value is $100. Further investigation will follow as any new leads come forth.
Oct. 27, Deputy Matthew Day took a report of a theft in the Nobleboro area. The complainant stated that she noticed her Kodak digital camera and docking station were missing. The approximate value is $350. Further investigation to follow if any new leads come forth.
Oct. 28, Frank D. Genthner, 45, of Bristol was arrested on a probation violation, on Bristol Road, Bristol, by Deputy Matthew Day and Sgt. Daniel Sceviour.
Oct. 30, Wayne D. Brann, 36, of Jefferson was arrested on a warrant out of the Augusta Police Dept., on Mills Road, Newcastle, by Det. Terry Michaud.
Oct. 30, Rodney E. Chapman, 51, of Bristol was arrested for violation of a protection order, on Pemaquid Villas Road, Bristol, by Deputy Justin Drake.
Nov. 1, Paula A. Corbin, 46, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a theft charge, on Upper East Pond Road, Nobleboro, by Deputy Scott Hayden.
On Oct. 27, an accident occurred on West Side Road in Boothbay involving Janice B. Pisano, 78, of Trevett. Pisano drifted off the road and struck an embankment. Her vehicle continued to drive in the ditch until it came to rest. Pisano’s 2003 Subaru station wagon sustained an estimated $1000 in damage. Deputy Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.
On Oct. 28, an accident occurred on Rt. 215 in Newcastle involving James W. Middleton, 63, of Jefferson and Brandon W. Johnston, 18, of Jefferson. Middleton was traveling northbound when he encountered an unidentified vehicle in the roadway retrieving a dog. Middleton stopped on a curve in the road. Johnston was also traveling northbound and when he rounded the bend in the road, he found Middleton’s vehicle stopped in the road and he was unable to stop. As a result, he struck Middleton’s vehicle. Middleton’s 2003 Subaru pickup truck sustained an estimated $1500 in damage and Johnston’s 1995 Kenworth three-axle truck sustained an estimated $20 in damage. Sgt. Brendan Kane was the investigating officer.
On Oct. 28, an accident occurred on Rt. 1 in Newcastle involving Robert P. Kirshner, 61, of Cambridge, Mass. Kirshner was traveling northbound when a deer ran into the roadway and was struck. Kirshner’s 1990 Saab sustained an estimated $2000 in damage. Deputy Brian Collamore was the investigating officer.
