Lincoln County Sheriff’s Report

Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:

On Feb. 1, Reserve Deputy Jennifer Sherman was dispatched to a report of a theft of money from a motor vehicle in the Whitefield area. Her vehicle was parked at St. Denis’ church, and approximately $1200 cash was stolen.

Recent summonsFeb. 2, Felicia Q. Colasessano, 31, of Wiscasset, was issued a summons for violating condition of release, on Meadow Court, Damariscotta, by Deputy Jared Mitkus, assisted by Reserve Deputy Richard Woodward.

Recent arrestsJan. 28, Adam E. Oliveri, 35, of Newcastle, was arrested for burglary and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, on Academy Hill, Newcastle, by Det. Scott Hayden.

Sylvia D. Hewes, 41, of Newcastle, was arrested for burglary and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, on Academy Hill, Newcastle, by Det. Scott Hayden.

Jan. 30, Lee A. Patterson, 21, of Wiscasset, was arrested on a warrant out of Waterville District Court for failure to appear on a violating condition of release charge, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Transport Deputy Michael Gustafson.

Wesley Glidden, 30, of Jefferson, was arrested for burglary; stealing drugs, violating condition of release; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and theft by deception, on Rockland Road, Jefferson, by Det. Scott Hayden.

Wyatt Wilson, 36, of Whitefield, was arrested for violating condition of release, on Maple Lane, Whitefield, by Deputy Kevin Dennison.

Karen D. Harrington, 27, of Dresden, was arrested for violating condition of release, on Calls Hill Road, Dresden, by Deputy Kevin Dennison, assisted by Wiscasset Chief Troy Cline.

Jan. 31, Cynthia J. Martin, 21, of Newcastle, was arrested on a Rockland Police Department warrant for failure to appear in court, on West Hamlet Road, Newcastle, by Deputy Justin Drake.

Tylor A. Miller, 19, of Waldoboro, was arrested on a probation hold, at the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Wiscasset, by Transport Deputy Michael Gustafson.

Feb. 1, Regina C. Stewart, 27, of Jefferson, was arrested for violating condition of release, on Washington Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Justin Drake.

Recent accidentsOn Jan. 31, an accident occurred on Main Street in Newcastle involving Dwight L. Chamberlain, 55, of Boothbay Harbor, and Eric J. Landry, 37, of New Gloucester. Landry was operating his 2014 Chevrolet Equinox southbound when he stopped for a pedestrian in a crosswalk. Chamberlain stated he didn’t see Landry stopping due to the bright sun in his eyes and as a result, struck Landry’s vehicle with his 2004 Subaru Legacy. Sergeant Matthew Day was the investigating officer.
