The Lynch Road reconstruction project in Newcastle is scheduled to begin June 28 with a substantial completion date of Sept. 11, town officials said Monday.
Ron Grenier, the town administrator, told the Board of Selectmen Ferraiolo Construction Co. of Rockland plans to begin staging materials this week with work scheduled to begin on June 28.
Ferraiolo outbid five other contractors to win the job priced at $517,424. The replacement of two large box culverts is included in the contract.
Contractors plan to keep one lane available for traffic during the construction.
