Hancock Lumber adds one of Maine’s most respected industry leaders to their senior leadership team in welcoming Peter Bernier as the Midcoast general manager.
Bernier built his career at Downeast Building Supply as a highly successful market leader in the Midcoast. With decades of experience, unsurpassed lumberyard acumen and a keen familiarity with surrounding markets, he adds yet another talented professional to Hancock’s employees.

Based out of the Brunswick location and supporting Damariscotta and Yarmouth lumberyards, Bernier will be responsible for Hancock’s business activity in the coastal region north of Portland.
Hancock Lumber takes pride in working with Maine’s best residential and commercial builders, remodelers, and general contractors, along with running traditional hometown hardware stores.
