Police have arrested two students and charged them with Terrorizing, a felony, in the Thursday morning evacuation of Medomak Valley High School as a result of a bomb threat.
Students were evacuated to Medomak Middle School at 9 a.m., and later were moved to the Waldoboro Baptist Church on Rt. 1.
Law enforcement, Waldoboro fire, and an ambulance set up a command post at the entrance to the school, and the Maine State Police Bomb Dog Teams searched the school and property.
The search was completed at 1:15 p.m. without finding a device.
Students were dismissed at the conclusion of the school day.
Reporter John Maguire will have a complete story in the Thurs., March 5 edition of The Lincoln County News.
