A Nobleboro man was arrested after allegedly displaying a knife and threatening another man who was waiting to watch the Waldoboro Fire Department’s 175th anniversary parade on Aug. 10, according to Waldoboro Police Chief Bill Labombarde.
Officers responded to a disturbance outside the VFW Hall on Mill St. at approximately 2:15 p.m., where Lance Kenyan, 20, of Nobleboro, allegedly displayed the knife and threatened another man who was waiting to watch the parade with his daughter, according to Police Chief Bill Labombarde.
Kenyan was arrested without incident by Officer Jeremy Joslyn and Officer Tom Bartunek and charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, Class C, according to a department press release.
The incident is still under investigation, according to the release.
As of the afternoon of Aug. 12, Kenyan was being held on $500 cash bail at Two Bridges Regional Jail, according to jail personnel.
