Stephen and Susan Schweigard of Wiscasset announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Ann to John Hamilton Jones. John is the son of William and Lang Jones of Chattanooga, Tenn.
The bridge to be is a graduate of Cobleskill Richmondville High School in Cobleskill, N.Y. She received her BA from the College of St. Rose in Albany, N.Y. She is also a graduate of The Paul Mitchell Skin Academy in Cosa Mesa, Cal. She is currently teaching the aesthetics program at Miller-Motte Technical College in Chattanooga, Tenn.
John is a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Chattanooga, Tenn. and attended the University of Tennessee. He is a programmer for Optum Health.
An autumn wedding is planned in Chattanooga, Tenn.
