A portion of Rt. 32 in Waldoboro will be closed, Wed., Aug. 17 for Maine Dept. of Transportation maintenance crews to replace a failing culvert.
Crews will replace a culvert approximately three miles south of Rt. 1, just south of the Ledges Circle and Dutch Neck Road intersection. Traffic will be directed onto Ledges Circle in order to bypass the area.
DOT crews plan to close the road to through traffic at 6 a.m. Wednesday, and if construction proceeds as planned, reopen the road by 7 p.m. that evening.
