The overwhelming majority of the 75 voters packed into the South Bristol town office July 25 approved a land purchase for a future boat launch.
The standing-room-only crowd voted 69-6 to proceed with the purchase of the 29 Thompson Inn Rd. property, the longtime home of Eugley’s Wharf, for $400,000. The voters also agreed to set aside $200,000 for future improvements to the property.
