At 5:25 p.m. on Mon. the Lincoln County Emergency Management Agency (LCEMA) announced that an overnight shelter for power outage victims will open at 6 p.m. at the Wiscasset Community Center located at 242 Gardiner Road in Wiscasset. The shelter will provide beds for those needing to stay overnight, hot meals, hot showers, and fresh drinking water. The shelter is also pet friendly. The facility will remain open until 8 a.m., according to the LCEMA.
