Officers responded to a Bay Street year ’round residence in Boothbay Harbor on Nov. 24, Thanksgiving morning after the homeowner arrived to find their residence burglarized. Several thousands of dollars worth of belongings were removed from the residence.
Since the report, Officers investigated several leads and tips, which have led to the arrest of Nicholas Wallace, 23, of Boothbay and Keith Brewer, 22, of Boothbay.
Wallace was arrested Dec. 23, and was bailed out of Two Bridges Regional Jail, and Brewer was arrested Dec. 28, and as of that date, is still being held in lieu of bail.
The Boothbay Harbor Police Dept., thanks several law enforcement agencies that assisted with the investigation, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Hallowell Police Dept., Summit County Colorado Sheriff’s Dept., and the North Olmsted Ohio Police Dept.
The North Olmsted, Ohio Police Dept. was involved in the recovery of some stolen items, and believe the value of the items is far greater than $10,000.
