Waldoboro Police and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency with the arrest of Dale Griffin, 42 and Michelle Knowlton, 39, both of Waldoboro today. Each were charged with Aggravated Trafficking Oxycodone class A (two counts).
The couple has been the focus of a month long investigation by the three agencies into the sale of Oxycodone in the Waldoboro area.
The charge was upgraded to “aggravated” due to the drug trafficking taking place within 1000-feet of a school.
The two are both currently in custody at the Two Bridges Jail in Wiscasset, and are likely to be in court in Lincoln County Mon., April 11.
