The Waldoboro Police report the following activities from the previous week:
Nov. 20, Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated a $31 gas drive off from the Big Apple. The subject was located and took care of the bill.
Nov. 23, Officer Thomas Bartunek is investigating a $46 gas drive from the Big Apple.
Nov. 21, Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a reported burglary of a barn and the related theft of several power tools and a Suzuki motorcycle.
Nov. 24, Officer Michel Dutil is investigating a criminal mischief complaint that someone put sugar in a motor vehicle’s gas tank.
Nov. 25, Officer Michel Dutil is investigating a $35.95 gas drive off from the Big Apple.
Nov. 30, Sergeant Jamie Wilson is investigating a report from Jennifer Keating that her vehicle had been broken into and items taken.
On Nov. 16, 17, 21, 24, 25, 29 and 30 Waldoboro police investigated eight complaints involving harassment and or harassing phone calls. In three cases the subjects were found and warned against further activity.
Nov. 19, Officer Michel Dutil investigated an accident that occurred on the Atlantic Highway at 5:19 a.m. when northbound 2002 Chevrolet pickup truck, operated by Francisco Carabes, 23, of Waldoboro, lost control on black ice and skidded into the opposite lane and the path of the southbound 2001 Chrysler, four door sedan operated by Abbie Knickelbein, 28, of Rockland. Knickelbein was able to avoid a collision. Carabes skidded off the road and struck several trees sustaining $10,000 damage to his truck.
As a result of this accident Carabes was summonsed for failure to produce proof of insurance.
Nov. 21, Officer Sean Kozer summonsed a 10-year-old male juvenile for theft.
Nov. 23, Officer Thomas Bartunek summonsed Megan Legasse, 25, of Waldoboro, for criminal mischief and theft.
Nov. 25, Officer Michel Dutil arrested Ben Gallagher, 25, of Waldoboro, on a warrant, and summonsed him for a violation of conditional release and terrorizing.
Nov. 27, Officer Jeffery Fuller summonsed Catherine Wooster, 35, of Waldoboro, for theft and forgery.
Nov. 30, Officer Jeffery Fuller summonsed for Robert Burgess, 22, of Warren for operating after suspension.
