In fact, on Dec. 16, 2009, a summons for the three listed allegations was issued to Jimmy Wellman, 27, of Thomaston, not Larry Wellman, 27, of Waldoboro.
Dec. 22, 2009, Officer Michel Dutil arrested Kristina Winchenbach, 30, of Waldoboro on a warrant.
Dec. 22, 2009, Officer Michel Dutil summonsed Michael Ohara, 29, of Waldoboro for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.
Dec. 29, 2009, Officer Thomas Bartunek summonsed Joseph Waltz, 21, of Waldoboro or attaching false plates.
Dec. 30, 2009, Officer Sean Kozer arrested Robert Burgess, 22, of Waldoboro on a domestic violence assault and obstructing report of a crime.
Dec. 30, 2009, Officer Michel Dutil arrested Corey Main, 34, of Waldoboro on a probation violation and summonsed him for unlawful possession of scheduled drugs.
Jan. 3, Sergeant Jamie Wilson arrested Robert Burgess, Jr., 22, of Waldoboro, for a violation of conditional release.
Dec. 24, 2009, Sergeant Jamie Wilson investigated an accident that occurred on the Orff’s Corner Road around 9:41 p.m. While operating a southbound 2003 Jeep, SUV, and using a cell phone, Katie Ventimiglia, 19, of Friendship, crossed over into the oncoming lane and entered the northbound ditch. Ventimiglia went over a large rock, went airborne and struck a large tree. Ventimiglia had abrasions and bruises to a leg area. A passenger Nichole Brann complained of pain in her facial area.
Dec. 26, 2009, Sergeant Jamie Wilson investigated an accident that occurred on the Atlantic Highway around 6:33 p.m. While climbing a hill, operating a southbound 2000 Chevrolet, SUV Melissa Sidelinger, 47, of Waldoboro, began to skid due to road conditions and slid into the opposing lane of traffic. A northbound 2003 Volvo, station wagon, operated by Susan Akers, 48, of Waldoboro, went into the breakdown lane trying to avoid contact but was struck by the Sidelinger vehicle in northbound lane, causing Akers’ vehicle to hit a guardrail and continued to spin down the roadway until it got to the bottom of the hill. Neither operator was injured. Sidelinger’s Chevrolet sustained $4500 damage. Akers’ Volvo sustained $7000 damage.
Dec. 29, 2009, Officer Michel Dutil investigated an accident that occurred on the Atlantic Highway at 11:54 a.m. As she turned right into Moody’s Diner parking lot, Stephanie Brown, 17, of North Haven, lost control of the northbound 2008 Toyota, four door sedan she was operating. Brown struck the rear of a 2002 Subaru, operated by Nancy Teele, 64, of Milton, Mass. ($100 damage), before colliding with a parked 1999 Mercury sedan ($800 damage) last operated by Martha Brown, 71, of Waldoboro, and pushing it into a parked 2006 Toyota, van ($1500 damage) last operated by Rebecca Walsh, 35, of Westbrook. There were no injuries. Brown’s vehicle sustained $1500 damage.
Dec. 29, 2009, Officer Michel Dutil investigated an accident that occurred on the Atlantic Highway at 1:39 p.m. While making a turn out of the I’m Puzzled business driveway onto the Atlantic Highway, heading north, a 1999 Mercury sedan, operated by Everett Clark, 81, of Searsmont collided with a northbound 2005 Freightliner operated by Jesse Kurr, 49, of Rockland. Clark’s vehicle sustained $1000 damage. Kurr’s vehicle sustained $500 damage.
Dec. 31, 2009, Officer Michel Dutil investigated an accident that occurred on the Atlantic Highway around 4:13 p.m. Operating southbound, Alexandra Chambers, 20, of Rockland, slowed due to other traffic, slid off the roadway into a rock embankment, causing damage to passenger front end of her 2005 Hyundai. Damage was estimated at $2500. Chambers was not injured.
Dec. 31, 2009, Officer Michel Dutil investigated an accident that occurred on the Washington Road around 2:55 p.m. when Marilyn Stetson, 56, of Waldoboro, lost control of her southbound 2001 Subaru station wagon and went off the road, striking trees and shrubs and sustaining $6000 damage to the vehicle. Stetson complained of minor pain. No ambulance was called.
Jan. 1, Officer Michel Dutil investigated an accident that occurred on the Bremen Road around 7:01 p.m. when Richard Salewski, 51, of Damariscotta, who was operating a northbound 2005 Jeep, SUV lost control of his vehicle due to road conditions, went off the road, rolled over and went into the ditch. Salewski’s Jeep sustained $4000 damage. He was not injured.
Jan. 1, Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated an accident that occurred on the Winslow’s Mills Road around 6:53 a.m. when Richard Guckin, 20, of Gardner, lost control of the 2003 Mazda sedan he was operating due to road conditions. Guckin’s Mazda came to rest after striking a rock embankment, ditch and a clump of trees, sustaining $6000 damage.
