The Waldoboro Police report the following activities from the previous week:
April 19, Officer Michel Dutil arrested Roman Cook, 18, of Swan’s Island for a violation of conditional release.
April 24, Officer Michel Dutil summonsed Celeb Umphrey-Giustra, 18, of Waldoboro for speed.
April 25, Officer Jeffery Fuller arrested Jessica Alexander, 34, of Waldoboro for a probation violation.
April 26, Officer Michel Dutil summonsed Renee Parry, 25, of Yarmouth for speed.
April 27, Officer Sean Kozer summonsed Gregory Blackler, 26, of Waldoboro for theft of an oil tank, $100 value, which was recovered.
April 28, Detective Lance Mitchell summonsed Charles Peters, 54, of Waldoboro for parking unnecessarily on way.
May 1, Officer Michel Dutil arrested Dwight Benner, 53, of Waldoboro on a violation of conditional release.
April 26, Around 6:10 p.m., Robert Christ, 48, of Waldoboro was pulling into the east entrance of Irving parking lot from the Atlantic Highway and struck a 2009 Mazda, four door sedan operated by Russell Cloutier, 68, of Warren, that was pulling into the parking lot from the north entrance. Christ could not see Cloutier’s vehicle due to the sun. Cloutier’s Mazda sustained $2000 damage. Christ’s 1989 Ford, pickup truck was not damaged. Neither man was injured. Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated.
April 28, Around 4:34 p.m. Hester Merrifield, 66, of Jefferson, was pulling onto the Atlantic Highway from a parking lot and struck Kimberly Sweet, 20, of Moosup, Conn., who was driving a 2005 Chevrolet four door sedan. Merrifield, whose view was obstructed due to illegally parked vehicle, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet four door sedan. Both vehicles sustained $7000 damage. Merrifield complained of pain in the neck area. Sweet complained of pain in the leg area. Det. Lance Mitchell investigated.
April 24, Sergeant Jamie Wilson investigated a report of harassing text messages. The subject was found and warned on harassment.
April 25, Officer Jeffery Fuller is investigating a report of a damaged windshield on a truck.
April 27, Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated a report from the Big Apple of a $50 gas drive off. The subject was located and will take care of it.
April 29, Officer Sean Kozer is investigating a report that copper is being stolen from Osram.
May 2, Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated a report of harassment. The subject was found and warned.
May 2, Officer Michel Dutil is investigating a report that a $5000 diamond ring is missing and believed to be stolen.
