The Waldoboro Police report the following activities from the previous week:
Arrests/Summonses
Oct. 1, Officer Jeremy Joslyn summonsed Robert Fusillo, 19, of Waldoboro, for a minor transporting liquor.
Oct. 1, Officer Jeremy Joslyn summonsed Robert Fusillo, 19, of Waldoboro, for criminal mischief.
Oct. 2, Officer Jeremy Joslyn is investigating a report from Jean Burnham that someone broke a door to her residence; nothing appears to be missing at this time.
Accidents
Sept. 27, Officer Sean Kozer investigated a two-car accident on Depot Street at 4:09 p.m. Ashley Frost, 24, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2006 Hyundai. Charles Chairchiaro, 61, of Waldoboro, was driving a 1995 Plymouth van. Both were northbound on Depot Street, when Chairchiaro made a wide right turn into a driveway, going into the oncoming travel lane. Frost attempted to overtake Chairchiaro on the right, and Chairchiaro struck Frost, who was between Chairchiaro and the entry to the driveway.
Sept. 30, Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated a two-car accident on Rt. 1 at 1:17 p.m. Jessica Schnell, 24, of Portland, was driving a 2003 Toyota. Lowell Simmons, 46, of Damariscotta, was driving a 2004 Ford, pickup truck. Schnell passed Simmons. When crossing back into the travel lane, Schnell failed to yield and struck the front of Simmons’ truck.
Oct. 2, Sgt. Jamie Wilson investigated a three-car accident on Kaler’s Corner Road at 5:25 p.m. Patricia Brock, 64, of Waldoboro, was driving a 1995 Plymouth van. Roger Creamer, 51, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2006 Pontiac four-door sedan. Rebecca Woodcock, 51, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2005 GMC SUV. Brock backed from a parking space and struck Creamer’s car. His car was parked in a parking space and unoccupied. Brock pulled forward and struck Woodcock’s SUV. Her SUV was parked and unoccupied. Brock said that an object was on the floor that prevented her from pressing brake pedal.
