The Waldoboro police report the following activities from the previous week:
Nov. 12, Officer Sean Kozer is investigating a report of a broken window in a parked truck.
Nov. 10, Officer Thomas Bartunek is investigating a report of slashed tires.
Nov. 11, Sergeant Jamie Wilson investigated an accident on the Atlantic Highway at 5 p.m. Brittany Westbrook, 23, of Warren, who was driving a 2008 Hyundai, four door sedan, was traveling northbound on the Atlantic Highway and was three vehicles back at red light at Washington Road intersection. When light turned green the front (unknown vehicle) was making left turn onto the Washington Road. A second unknown vehicle, behind the first was continuing straight on the Atlantic Highway and was waiting to continue for the first to make its left turn. Chelsea Lallier, 25, of Brunswick, who was driving a 1996 Honda and the first unknown vehicle made left turns in front of each other. Westbrook accelerated heavily into the right turn only lane and passed the second unknown vehicle on the right and struck Lallier as it was making a left turn onto Main Street. Brittany Westbrook complained of pain in the neck area. Chelsea Lallier complained of pain in the facial area. Westbrook’s Hyundai sustained $4000 damage. Lallier’s Honda sustained $6000 damage.
Nov. 9, Officer Michel Dutil arrested Kevin Brewer, 51, of Waldoboro for unpaid fines.
Nov. 10, Officer Sean Kozer arrested Steven Parmley, 58, of Waldoboro for refusing to submit to arrest or detention.
Nov. 10, Officer Thomas Bartunek arrested Joseph Waltz, 22, of Waldoboro on a warrant.
Nov. 11, Officer Thomas Bartunek summonsed Robert Dardis, 21, of Bremen for operating after suspension.
Nov. 12, Sergeant Jamie Wilson arrested David Nichols, 27, on a warrant.
Nov. 14, Officer Jeffery Fuller summonsed Dean Chatagnier, 45, of Alna for operating after suspension.
