The Waldoboro Police department is investigating a rash of recent residential burglaries, all of which took place during daylight hours, presumably while the homeowners were at work, the department said in a press release.
The burglaries have occurred throughout Waldoboro, but are related in the nature and believed to have been committed by the same person or persons, the department said.
Police are seeking any information about any suspicious person(s), vehicle(s) and/or activity. Anyone with information in encouraged to call Det. Lance Mitchell or Chief Bill Labombarde at the Waldoboro Police Department at 832-4500. All information will be confidential.
