Are you a budding wine enthusiast interested in learning more and expanding your wine IQ? What’s the difference between Champagne, Prosecco and Cava? Are there any really good boxed wines? What exactly does it mean when a wine is described as “mineral-driven” or “buttery”? If your interest is piqued then join us on Thursday, June 7th from 5-7pm for a fun and informative wine tasting! At the end of the class we’ll raffle off a bottle of wine for one lucky attendee Maia Gosselin, the owner of Sip Wine Education will take you on a tour of delicious bubblies, whites, roses and reds, discussing varietals, regions, history and today’s trends. Trust us, you don’t want to miss this terrific event!

More about Maia: Maia Gosselin has more than 15 years’ experience in the beverage alcohol industry as an editor, writer, bartender, educator and consultant. She is the owner of Sip Wine Education, a business providing in-home, on-premise, bridal shower, senior living and corporate wine education and is a regular guest on News Center Maine’s “207”. In her profession, she finds that many people would like to learn more about wine but are intimidated by it. A skilled public speaker, she has an ease of approach to teaching, making her seminars and tastings informative yet enjoyable and unpretentious. Her aim is to demystify the world of wine by making it fun and accessible, one Sip at a time
