The Waldo Theatre, at 916 Main St. in Waldoboro, is having a community work day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 12. The purpose of the day is to continue cleaning the interior of the theater and, weather permitting, get the grounds outside ready for the winter. The public is encouraged to participate. Refreshments will be provided.
Equipment that would be helpful to bring to the work day includes: a truck (for transporting trash to the dump); a shop vac and extension cords for cleaning the interior; rakes, loppers, and pruning shears for putting the theater grounds to bed; and gloves for inside cleaning and outdoor work.
