The public is invited to a community contra dance in the fellowship hall at the Damariscotta Baptist Church.
Basic dances will be taught, accompanied by the Oyster Creek Fiddlers & Friends. Local musicians are welcome to sit in. At a break at 7:30 p.m., refreshments will be available. Attendees are encouraged to bring snacks and sweets for a dessert potluck.
uggested donations for just the family dance are $4 for adults and $2 for students. Suggested donations for the later dance are $8 for adults and $5 for students.
