Retired professor from the SUNY system Bob Emmons, will speak about Daniel Morgan, one of the great heroes of the early days of the American Republic. He was a fearless and inspiring leader, but unlike most of his contemporary generals, he was not an aristocrat but rather began as a wagon driver.
