The cast and crew of 43 Degrees North will join audiences for exclusive screenings of the film followed by a Q&A.
WHAT: The stages of grief are denial, anger, bargaining, and… aliens? When a world-renowned author inherits his recently deceased wife’s cottage on an island in Maine, all Raphael wants to do is sell it and move on. But strange things start happening, and for Raphael to accept his future as a widower, he may first need to accept that he’s not as alone as he believes.
43 Degrees North was shot entirely in Maine with local actors. Funded through individual donations and volunteers, it was designed to bring people together and drive interest in community filmmaking. For the first time in a movie, the Calendar Islands of Casco Bay were brought together as a singular community.
