A half-dozen assorted holiday cookies (plus minis) will be offered in bags, and some individual cookies also will be sold by the half-dozen. The cookie assortment bags quickly sold out at last year’s holiday sale.
There also will be breads (including brown bread and gluten-free bread), baked beans, Southwestern soup, dilly beans, pies, brownies and other delectables for sale. A separate table will feature carefully curated jewelry items. Shoppers will be able to purchase a gift of helping others sustainably raise animals through Heifer International. Cards that honor the recipient will be available.
A small selection of baked goods also will be available at Good Things Thrift & Craft Shop, 14 Washington Road (north of Borealis Breads). In the event of a snowstorm, the sale will be held Dec. 11 at 11:30 a.m. Broad Bay Congregational UCC is located at 941 Main St., kitty-corner from the Waldoboro Public Library.
