New Hope for Women has served as a trusted partner in midcoast Maine for forty years, providing an essential community service to people affected by domestic abuse. Over the decades, we have continued to
learn, evolve and update our approach and services to best meet the needs of our communities. We’re very excited about our latest evolution… a new name and logo! We have always served everyone, regardless of gender, race, age or economic circumstances and on November 16 at 12noon we’ll reveal a new name and logo that better reflects the inclusive work we do each and every day.
Join us to learn why we changed our name and hear more about our inclusive mission.
Governor Janet Mills will share some thoughts and you’ll also hear from some of our community partners about how we collaborate to provide comprehensive support and education to people in Sagadahoc, Lincoln, Knox and Waldo counties who are impacted by domestic abuse.
