Arlene McCurda Cole will tell stories of her family and the J. E. McCurda general store which was a busy place in South Jefferson in the 1800’s. Several of the most popular items were various patent medicines which claimed to cure everything that could trouble a person. The meeting is open to the public. Refreshments will be available.
